Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-17 This Privacy Policy applies to Mellowbridge ("we," "us") and describes how we collect, use, and handle information through our platform. Our practices comply with GDPR for EU users and applicable data protection laws. We process two types of information: personal data that identifies you (name, email, address), and anonymized data that doesn't identify you (session metrics, aggregated usage patterns).
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Automatically collected data. When you access Mellowbridge, we log your browser type, operating system, IP address, access times, and which pages sent you here. Personal information comes in when you register, subscribe to sessions, join our community Slack, or reach out directly. We're talking your name, email, location, and device identifiers. Anonymized information helps us see session attendance patterns, engagement metrics, device details, and diagnostic data so we can improve things. By using Mellowbridge, you're consenting to all of this.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to: — Deliver group sessions and coordinate scheduling; — Send session updates, nervous system tips, and community announcements; — Analyze attendance patterns to improve facilitator training and session design; — Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries; — Comply with legal obligations and protect user safety.
3. INFORMATION DISCLOSURE
We disclose your information to: — Service providers supporting our operations (hosting, payments, email, Slack integration); — Law enforcement when legally required or to prevent fraud or harm; — Third parties if we're acquired or our assets are transferred. De-identified or aggregated data can be shared without restriction.
4. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate sessions, remember your preferences, and analyze usage trends. Third-party services embedded on our platform may collect data under their own policies. You can manage cookies via your browser settings, though some features might not work without them. We provide controls for both essential and analytical tracking. Questions about third-party services? Email info@mellowbridge.space.
5. ADVERTISING
We don't serve behavioral ads. Any analytics we collect go toward improving our services and understanding how people discover and use Mellowbridge.
6. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Your name and profile show up to other group members and facilitators. Anything you share in our Slack community is visible to other members. We're not responsible for information you voluntarily share in community spaces.
7. DO NOT TRACK
The Mellowbridge platform doesn't currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. There's no industry standard for DNT yet. Check allaboutdnt.com for details.
8. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.82, you can request disclosure of personal information categories we've shared with third parties for marketing in the past year. Submit requests once yearly to info@mellowbridge.space.
9. ACCESSING OR CHANGING YOUR INFORMATION
Contact us to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements. Requests take around a month to process. Email info@mellowbridge.space.
10. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
Your data lives with third-party providers in secure, encrypted environments. By using Mellowbridge, you consent to data processing in jurisdictions with varying privacy standards. We keep personal information until you request deletion or until it's no longer needed for service delivery.
11. INFORMATION FOR EU RESIDENTS (GDPR)
Legal bases for processing. We process personal data under your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Data retention. Personal data stays as long as needed for service delivery or legal requirements. Log files. IP addresses stick around for about a week for security and functionality, then get anonymized. Analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics with IP anonymization turned on. Cookies. Essential cookies operate under Art. 6(1)(f). Analytical cookies need consent under Art. 6(1)(a). Control them through your browser. Newsletter. We use your email only for session schedules and tips. Contact info@mellowbridge.space to exercise them: access, rectification, erasure, processing restriction, data portability, and objection. You can lodge a complaint with your EU supervisory authority. Data Protection Officer contact available upon request.
12. CHILDREN
Mellowbridge is designed for adults between 25 and 55. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. Anyone under 18 needs parental consent to use our services. Parents can request data removal by contacting info@mellowbridge.space.
